What is TeleHealth?
We are able to conduct our online sessions by using your smartphone audio/video functions, your laptop, computer, or tablet. We see and hear one another as we speak. Our communications will remain secure and HIPAA compliant.
Will we be able to do the same work we have been doing, and in the same way?
Yes, we are still be able to do regular talk therapy, couples work, Brainspotting, and EMDR. Once we get into a rhythm it feels similar to sessions in the office. A bonus is you will not have to leave home – or the office – and may be able to curl up in your favorite chair for our sessions.
Online counseling provides you with the convenience and flexibility you need to meet the demands of your life, without compromising the quality of services you’re seeking.
If I’m not tech-savvy, can I do online counseling?
Yes. If you have access to the internet and an email address, you can connect directly to my virtual waiting room. If you’d prefer to talk via telephone, rather than online, that’s also an option.
How is Online Counseling different from traditional counseling?
During the Pandemic, online counseling became the norm in self-development work. Not only does it provide you with all the benefits of traditional psychotherapy and coaching, it allows you a great deal of flexibility in terms of how we connect. As long as you have access to an internet connection or a phone line, we can have a session, which allows you to do the important work of self-development on your terms.
How do we connect?
We can connect either online using a video conferencing platform, or via telephone, whichever works better for you.
